Abstract
In the digital era, social media has become a vital space for disseminating religious values, including Al-Qur’an interpretation, making them more accessible to the wider community. Gus Baha, known for his simple yet profound interpretative approach, has effectively integrated this platform. This study analyzes the social construction of YouTube content, focusing on Gus Baha's audiovisual interpretation of Q.S. AlBaqarah [2]: 143 on religious moderation. Using Peter L. Berger and Luckmann's social construction theory, this library research collects primary data from YouTube tafsir videos and secondary data from relevant literature. The findings reveal three main processes in Gus Baha's interpretation: externalization, objectification, and internalization. Externalization reflects his perspective on religious moderation as a response to modern life challenges, particularly in Indonesia’s plural society, where this issue remains critical. Objectification appears in the transformation of moderation values into accessible social representations, while internalization occurs as these ideas are embraced and integrated into daily life. This study highlights how Gus Baha's interpretation underscores tolerance, justice, and balance, offering practical solutions for fostering social harmony in contemporary contexts.
