Abstract
Change management is very necessary in an institution or organization; with change management, organization can manage transitions in a more structured way and ensure that the changes made bring positive and sustainable results, as well as in strengthening of students’ religious character at MAN 1 Tabalong. This study aims to analyze the process of implementing change management in efforts to strengthen the religious character of students at MAN 1 Tabalong. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative; this research reveals the steps taken by the madrasah in implementing change management in efforts to strengthen the religious character of students at MAN 1 Tabalong. The subjects of this study are the madrasa principal and religious mentors at MAN 1 Tabalong. Meanwhile, the object of this research is the implementation of change management in strengthening the religious character of students at MAN 1 Tabalong. The data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, and documentation. The research results indicate that the implementation of change management in strengthening religious character at MAN 1 Tabalong has been quite effective and structured, reflecting the strong commitment of all members of the madrasah in building a sustainable religious culture and being able to transform religious activities into a school culture that is alive and deeply rooted in the students' character. This success shows that change managed systematically, collaboratively, and based on exemplary behavior can produce tangible and sustainable character transformation in the educational environment.
