RELASI KUASA DALAM TAFSIR AL-QUR’AN ATAS FENOMENA PENURUNAN ANGKA PERNIKAHAN DI INDONESIA: ANALISIS PERSPEKTIF MICHEL FOUCAULT
Abstrak
Abstract
This study aims to analyze how Qur'anic interpretation understands the phenomenon of declining marriage rates in Indonesia through the perspective of Michel Foucault's power relations. This study uses a literature review method with a descriptive-analytical approach and adopts the theory of power relations and relates it to the contextual interpretation of Ma'na cum Maghza Q.S. An-Nur verse 32. The results show that the phenomenon of declining marriage rates is not only the result of social and economic changes, but is also influenced by institutional, discursive, social, and epistemic power that works through media discourse, religious interpretation, and cultural norms. This analysis shows that the interpretation of the Qur'an can be a space of resistance against the dominance of social discourse that constructs marriage as an economic burden or an outdated institution. Thus, power relations in the interpretation of the Qur'an can provide an alternative, more inclusive social understanding of family and marriage values in the modern era.
